BookBoon
This website is an amazing project. It has so many resources within it, if you are really interested in learning relevant and current, college level information. The books on this site are written specifically for BookBoon. If you are not required to do homework problems out of your textbooks then BookBoon can be used for many different topic from economics to arts and literature.

The downside that seems to be ever present in the topic of looking for cheap textbooks is that the ones you need for university classes, they are not available and the professors and program directors seem to be in cohorts with the publishing companies. I say this because very few teachers use the very usable collections of textbooks available on website such as this.

This is a very resource abundant page that will probably have you wincing and squinting to read through the links. The website is clearly written by a teacher with not much time on their hands, but a clear goal of stopping the ridiculous pricing of textbooks for students who are already in financial hard times. Teachers are supposed to be in it for the students, and so this is a great resource for a teacher to offer. Maybe, this teacher will share this website, as well, with his/her students.

We truly appreciate the effort made because, besides the fact that the design is less than appealing, the website serves a very much needed purpose. Not only does it support the students who are looking for alternative means to acquiring required information for class, it allows for the acquisition of more sympathetic teachers and program directors.
