Free Materials: How and Where
In this consumer marketplace, if we look hard enough for long enough, in just the right places, there is virtually nothing one can't obtain for free or extremely cheap. Although, it does entail a great deal of searching and hoping and waiting, to get just what you need or want. Well, this section of DIY Education Online is dedicated to finding those materials for you, and constantly monitoring the giveaway spots to keep you informed about any changes and new offers that come up.
We will obviously not have every "free giveaway" spot on the internet monitored so don't be surprised if you find something not on this website. The point is we will diligently work to sort through the meaningless nonsense that people are trying to giveaway and inform you all if we see something that seems to either offer a great deal of free resources in one spot, or if some amazing offer comes up throughout our search.

FREE - Federal Resources for Educational Excellence.
This is something most people probably have never seen or even considered being an option, but...there are many resource opportunities available on this *.ed.gov website. Throughout this site, there are thousands of resources; some of them are just online resources, but others are actual fact sheets, videos, flyers, study guides and much more. It is an ultimate collection of study materials and educational software, supplies and... this could go on for a while.
The point of the matter is that this is a free resource (called FREE) that our government (your tax dollars) paid for and compiled for you and your children to benefit from. Don't let the resources being put out there for you never make it to you due to the lack of awareness raising attempts by the government with stuff to give away, go get what you like. (FREE)

Surprising as it may be, the Emergency Management Institute offers completely free and college level courses and materials that have to do with Environmental Sciences, Geology, Sociology amongst other subjects. The discovery of this website was actually quite unexpected, but a very welcome surprise to say the least. There is an incredible amount of very good information that could be added to any resume, one must only put forth the effort.
In conclusion, the main point to be seen here is that this is another government funded educational resource for you, paid for by you. Don't let these resources go unrecognized or under-valued; see if there is anything there that you would like to see on your resume! There are so many options that if you take the time, most likely you will find something suitable for your resume. (EMI | FEMA)
